Recent Advances in Multiple Sclerosis (In-Person)

A collaborative effort, with healthcare providers, clinicians, and people with multiple sclerosis, aimed at improving health and well-being through contemporary topics that aim to improve education and the delivery of care

Through an interactive symposium platform, world renowned multiple sclerosis specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, industry experts, and therapists will provide a comprehensive, one-day, program focusing on disease state education and acute and long-term therapeutic options, symptomatic management, and recent scientific advancements for those challenged by multiple sclerosis. Live demonstrations and interactive hands-on workshops will also be provided.

Event Objectives

  1. Provide attendees with recent scientific advances in our field from newly FDA approved disease modifying therapies to newly emerging treatments

  2. Enable people with multiple sclerosis and family members to better understand how to advocate for themselves

  3. Understand the impact of diet and exercise

  4. Develop strategies for reducing risk for a transition to a generic multiple sclerosis treatment

  5. Reveal the primary factors that result in discontinuation of a multiple sclerosis treatment

  6. Learn effective acute attack and chronic symptom management strategies
